The Birdfy Lite Smart Bird HD Camera is fun, educational, easy to install, and makes a great gift for anyone with an interest in birds and the outdoors. It is a weatherproof, solar powered, high-definition (1080p) wireless camera that lets you view, record, and identify wild birds with your smart phone, tablet, or computer. Using motion-detection, day or night, it senses when there is a bird nearby and records audio and video and sends you a real-time activity notification via the free Birdfy app. The included solar panel provides continuous power, and is purposely separate from the camera to allow for optimized placement, because where you may want to put the camera is not always the best place to capture the most sun, so added installation flexibility is a plus.
